Roundtable: AI in Medicine and Internet Addiction
As part of our 4-week Creative AI Workshop in Opovo, we organized a roundtable for parents and teachers on the topics of AI in medicine and internet addiction.
The roundtable talk was led by our member Dr. Olivera Bogunovic, psychiatrist and medical director at McLean Hospital and assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. She shared how modern technologies such as AI are helping advance medicine and psychiatry, while also addressing the challenges they present in cases such as internet addiction.
Professor Vladimir Pavlovic contributed his perspective on how AI is shaping education and society, while designer Bogdan Novakovic spoke about AI and digital applications from the creator’s point of view. Together, this open conversation helped parents and teachers better understand both the potential of AI in healthcare and the risks associated with excessive technology use.
